Taunton Event: Race from the Base

Race from the Base is an ultra-cycling challenge organised by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. It is a charity fundraising event, raising vital funds to help critically ill or injured patients.

Taking place at Henstridge Airfield on Saturday 10th June 2023, the event has three different distances to choose from:

• 30km (The Circuit)
• 60km (The Cruise)
• 100km (The Climb)

All routes will start and finish at the airfield, which is the home of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance team.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance asking all participants to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship, the individual who raises the highest amount of funds will receive the 'Hugo Yaxley Trophy' in recognition.
